The use of sustainable materials is already considered at the design stage, but also the end products and whether they can be easily repaired and recycled. VAUDE products with the Green Shape label consist of certified eco-friendly materials and, thanks to the bluesign® system, are processed in an energy-saving and efficient way without the use of questionable substances. In addition, Green Shape guarantees that your product can be easily washed at low temperatures and without chemical cleaning.

Fair Wear Foundation

VAUDE makes extensive use of recycled and natural materials such as hemp, organic cotton and organic plastics. The only approved materials are those that are harmless to both nature and people. Harmful components and controversial technologies are therefore consciously avoided. Where necessary VAUDE develops its own new materials in cooperation with partners. The strict guidelines apply not only to fabrics, but also to zips, buttons and other components. VAUDE also values the conditions for the employees in the production facilities. VAUDE is a member of the Fair Wear Foundation (FWF) to guarantee that all production facilities comply with the strict FWF Code of Working Conditions. This ensures that VAUDE meets the highest standards of social and fair working conditions.
