It is the beginning of the fifties. Emidio Lazzarini is a wrestler and at the same time a shoemaker. When he enters the ring, he gets shoes that are far too slippery and feel uncomfortable when he wears them. As a shoemaker, he naturally disagrees. One day, he decides to make a pair of shoes himself that will give him the comfort he needs when he wrestles in the ring. Around the same time, a footballing friend of his says that he cannot stand the hard leather boots he is wearing because they feel like stone. Emidio decides to make football boots from soft calfskin, instead of the usual hard leather described by his friend. His friend doesn't believe the difference, he no longer feels the pain of his old boots and he spreads the word about his new ones. That was the magical moment when everyone became interested in Emidio's shoes. Emidio takes the measurements of each Ascoli player and starts making shoes for them one by one.

As Emidio continues the family tradition, he also manages to offer shoes with an unrivalled, flexible and comfortable fit, created from pure craftsmanship. It soon became apparent that Emidio Lazzarini's shoes were a boon to athletes and ordinary consumers alike.  In short, for those who find quality and extreme comfort very important.
