Minimum started in 1997 as an independent shop, located in Aarhus, Denmark. In the meantime, Minimum has managed to develop into a fashion brand of international level. Minimum's mission was to design accessible fashion. With this in mind, the first collection for men was launched in 1999. The women's collection of Minimum followed in the year 2007. The clothing of Minimum was focused on contemporary designs of high quality. Since then, the collections have been refined with much attention to the minimalistic style of Minimum. With an unpretentious and non-seasonal approach to fashion, Minimum has become the synonym for effortless fashion that can be worn season after season. Today, the internationally represented brand can be found at more than 1200 retail outlets in Europe, Asia, Australia and Canada. Minimum is the result of a shared desire to design both accessible and fashionable clothing. With a sharp eye for detail, quality and fit no two ways about it.

Minimum headquarters

Despite the international growth of Minimum, the brand can still be seen as independent. The brand is still led by the founder and owner of Minimum: Peter Tang. At Minimum, they have the goal to maintain their international vision whereby they keep pushing their ambitions to a higher level. Yet they are proud to still stand firmly on their own feet in the city where it all began: Aarhus in Denmark. Here, Minimum has a spacious and industrial head office by the harbour, where more than 50 people work together to achieve the brand's missions, maintain a healthy workplace, make high quality clothing and maintain and develop a strong company.
