Goorin Bros: The foundation

The Goorin Bros. brand was founded by Cassel Goorin in Pittsburgh in 1895. At that time, Cassel Goorin began making hats, which he sold from his horse and carriage. Twenty-five years later, Cassel Goorin's two sons took over the business and created the name Goorin Bros. The two sons decided to expand and opened shops across America selling the homemade hats. Since then, the Goorin Bros. brand and business have continued to grow, and the business has remained in the family to this day. Today, Cassel Goorin's great-grandson is at the helm of the company. Goorin Bros is now so big that hats and caps are sold not only in America, but all over the world. What will never change at Goorin Bros, however, is the tradition of maintaining the authentic craftsmanship that runs in the family.
