Bootstock

Bootstock is a Dutch shoe brand specialising in making cowboy boots of the best quality. The brand was founded in 2020 by Mariska. Before this, Mariska was looking for the perfect, original cowboy boots for her daughter, but found out that cowboy boots for children were harder to find than she thought. Thus the idea was born to found Bootstock and produce genuine cowboy boots for children. Once she found a workshop that met her needs and requirements perfectly, she decided to design her own cowboy boots for women and children. This resulted in a success and is well received to this day. Bootstock boots have intricate designs and are styled to perfection. They are luxurious boots with a bohemian, western feel and vintage appeal.

Handmade cowboy boots

Bootstock boots are expertly made by master craftsmen, with strict quality standards. All the leather from which the boots are made is processed by highly trained technicians and the most appropriate equipment. The handmade boots are made from 100% cow leather of the finest textures and feature beautiful hand-finished stitching, allowing them to mould to your feet over time. With their bold designs and cheerful colours, Bootstock stands for stylish boots with a cool, quirky touch.

Sustainable production

They value sustainability, people and the environment at Bootstock. The factories they work with have multiple certifications, such as ISO 45001, an official international standard for occupational health and safety. Bootstock's boots are tested by Bureau Veritas Laboratory. Additional quality testing is also carried out within the factory laboratory itself. The leather used for the boots is also made in an LWG-controlled tannery.

Goodyear Welted

All Bootstock boots are made using the Goodyear Welted method, except for some children's boots. This is the oldest and most durable technique for making handmade boots. Goodyear Welted is a very robust production method where a double-stitched seam attaches the upper to the insole. Because of this technique, you never feel the stitching when walking on the boot. Another advantage is that this sturdy fastening method makes the boots waterproof. Using the Goodyear Welted method is very durable, making the boots last a long time. The outsole can also be easily replaced this way.
