Parbleu

Amsterdam-based trainer brand Parbleu was founded in 2016 with the mission to deliver high-quality, luxury trainers at an affordable price.

Parbleu all started with one man. A trainer lover at heart. He grew up in the eighties and saw from the sidelines the phenomenal rise of American trainer brands. Too young to buy those hip trainers, but old enough to understand their significance. When he could finally buy his own shoes, he assembled a unique collection of the best the trainer industry had to offer. As he grew older, his tastes changed. On the way to so-called classic trainers. The simpler, the better. And it is with this attitude that they design their trainers today; refined iterations of classic silhouettes. Using extraordinary premium materials, to offer a superior trainer at a fair price.

The production process 

Parbleu shoes are mainly handmade, with a little help from tools and machines. This is done in Portugal, in small factories by a selected team of skilled craftsmen. Using traditional techniques that have been passed down from generation to generation. From father to son. The Parbleu team regularly visits these factories and ensures that the employees work in a healthy environment with a good and fair salary. 

Parbleu only works with the best available Italian cow leather and suede. By using full leather linings in their shoes, they offer a natural and luxurious alternative to the current trainer offerings on the market. Unlike other trainers, they also smell pretty good in the long run, if you know what we mean! The outsoles are made of rubber, a natural product that ages respectfully and offers maximum comfort and durability.
