Josh is a 100% Dutch product. Personal, honest, sober, trendy and accessible for everyone. Josh offers a wide collection of silver plated and leather bracelets for men and women. These trendy yet timeless homemade jewellery are handmade and polished in our own workshop.

Josh is constantly innovating and looking for new methods of leatherwork in which traditional craftsmanship is an important motive. Every day authentic craftsmanship is combined with the latest trends. Because all accessories are handmade, every Josh is unique.

Locks and parts of the bracelets

A metal alloy called ZAMAK is used as the basis for the parts. This is a mixture of Zinc, Aluminum, Magnesium and Copper. Of course, this is 100% nickel and lead free. After that the parts are provided with:

- a silver layer
- a vintage coating
- a vintage black coating

The vintage locks and parts become more vintage by wearing them. We often compare it to jeans that bleed out as they get older. The edges become lighter and shinier because of the polishing effect of for example clothing.

Crystals of Swarovski

The crystals used are exclusively from Swarovski® Elements. Swarovski® Elements delivers unparalleled quality, craftsmanship and creativity. The Swarovski® Elements brand is synonymous with quality and luxury in the fashion world. The crystals are beautiful, durable and irreplaceable. They shine beautifully in the light with every movement. With a piece of jewelry from Josh, you won't be able to miss them anymore!

Leather bracelets

The leather used by Josh comes mainly from Spain and the Netherlands and is of exceptional quality. The entire process from tanning and colouring to processing into a bracelet is closely monitored. The different processes give the leather a different look.

Only the best parts of the skin, such as the back and neck, are used. However, leather is a natural product and therefore never completely perfect or identical. Neck folds can be visible and indicate the authenticity of pure grain leather. Colour variations between different deliveries are possible and the colour may therefore differ from previously delivered models. But this way you know that you will always have a unique copy of Josh in your hands. Nobody will walk around with exactly the same bracelet.

Just like the locks and parts the leather will deliver more. The leather will become more supple and light-coloured leather can become thicker due to the influence of dirt and grease from the skin. Leather that gets wet a lot, can dry out and will eventually tear and/or break. This can be prevented by not showering or swimming with the bracelet.

Taking care of your jewelry

You want to show off your just bought Josh item as long as possible. That's why we give you a few tips here:

- It sounds so simple, but prevention is better than cure! We know, sometimes you just want to finish your work quickly, but it's a small effort to take the bracelet off. This keeps them beautiful for so much longer!

- 'As tough as leather' is a saying that didn't just come out of the blue. Leather is a super durable product but has enemies just like any other material. Chemicals are an example of this. So, it's very important to make sure the bracelet doesn't come into contact with sulfur and chlorine. We do not recommend wearing Josh while exercising, showering, cleaning or swimming. Also, during physical work and sleep it is better to keep the bracelets off. People often forget that everyday activities can be disastrous for their jewelry.

- Note: if it's really a hot day (and especially on the beach!) it's best to put your jewelry in your bag.

Various sizes available

Standard we have 1 length for the ladies, indicated as S. Per model the total length can vary from 18 cm to 19 cm. This is partly due to the thickness of the parts or the thickness of the leather.

For the men there are 3 standard lengths, namely M, L-1 and L. Also, here the total length can vary.

M = 20,5 cm (overall length)
L-1 = 21.5 cm (overall length)
L = 22.5 cm (overall length)
