Moreover, Gaston Luga has been a carbon-neutral organisation since 2019. This is partly thanks to their partnership with Carbon Footprint Ltd to offset their CO2 emissions. To do this, they donate to the Escarpment Environment Conservation Network (Esconet), supporting a project to restore local forests in Kenya's Great Rift Valley.
